Culture Night in Dublin Institute of Design
Join us on Friday 22 September to celebrate CULTURE NIGHT 2017
Dublin Institute of Design is hosting the Centre for Creative Practices with their latest New Voices of Ireland Series 5. Exploring and exposing irrationalities and limitiation of our fears, features migrant, experimental and emerging artists, and focuses on socially relevant topics.
7 multidisciplinary artists from different origins present engaging, collaborative and participatory pieces:
El Putnam – an interactive performance “Blood – Soil"
5.30 pm, 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm, 8.30 pm, 9.30 pm, 10.30 pm participatory performance and workshop.
Eleonor Lawler – will investigate a history woven by and through its people.
Live installation - 5 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 10.30 pm
Mark Lawlor – “Traffic” featuring 1,300 pairs of shoes made of cardboard and maps
Workshop - 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm
Mirjana Reneduzic - a performative bilingual piece about a migrant artist
Performance 6 pm, 9.00 pm.
Olga Dziubak– an audio-visual installation about “How love overcomes borders”
Ongoing installation,
Kiera O’Toole – an interactive happening on the topic insider/outsider
Drawing conversations, 5 pm, 6 pm 7 pm, 9 pm; reading - 8 pm
Csilla Toldy – Erasure - audiences engaging technique for creating poetry
