About the Course
This course will teach you how to create illustrations and vectors in Adobe Illustrator, manipulate photographs in Adobe Photoshop and create compositions and layout in Adobe InDesign.
The course is aimed at anyone looking to begin their digital media career, as well as current students who need to create visuals for their projects. We will go through the basics of each piece of software over the course of 7 Saturday workshops. You will build up your skills through a series of challenging creative tasks. You will benefit from guidance from highly experienced tutors along the way.
You will also be tasked with completing a design project, in which you will create both digital files and print-ready files for output to print.
Starting Dates and Format
Course Duration: 7 weeks
Scheduling: Saturdays, 10:00 – 4:00pm.
Dates: Saturday 01 February – Saturday 21 March 2020.
On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Dublin Institute of Design Certificate in Adobe Software for Beginners.
You can also apply to our 1-year Higher National Certificate course in any of these design fields.
This course starts at the very beginning with PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign. Applicants must have basic computer skills.
As numbers are limited for this course, pre-booking is essential.
