I have found these 8 weeks to be a very formative and pleasant way to approach the Adobe package. The tutor has been brilliant in every aspect. She has been very knowledgeable, punctual in the structure and delivery of the programme and a lot of fun too.
Excellent communicator, respectful of each individual's learning speed and she has shared with us the passion for her job and plenty of notes and resources to continue improving.
The Adobe package was completely new to me, but I gained enough confidence to go ahead with my own projects. I had a chance to create a new logo for my business and much more besides. Highly recommended.

I have really enjoyed the last eight weeks learning about Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). I have learnt a lot in a short period of time, and much of this is down to the practical, hands-on nature of the course and the tutorials. I had no previous experience with any of the tools, and it’s been great to go from having no graphic design skills to creating logos, posters and more.
- Ashling Plunkett
I initially wanted to take this course to develop my skills in InDesign and learn how to format reports. The course taught so much more than that and introduced design skills, looking at colour palettes and style effects.
The tutor is very talented and proficient in all the software which made it easy to ask any question or work through queries. The online format also worked very well over MS Teams.
From the first week, I was able to take some of the skills I had learned and practice in my own time. The skills I have learned in the course are transferrable. I can now bring these design principles to any aspect of my own work. After completing the course, I feel much more confident in the Adobe Suite and I have a portfolio of work that I can show to friends and colleagues.

The overall course and the lecturer were great, I came into the course with some understanding of Adobe software in relation to map making. This course opens up the ability to use new skills to promote and market products physically and digitally.

I thoroughly enjoyed the eight weeks of the course, it was a welcome relief from the lockdown and I can honestly say that the day flew while participating in the course.
Our tutor is an absolute professional, and was able to convey her expert knowledge in the Adobe systems in an easy and entertaining way. My primary reason to take the course was to understand how to use the application effectively, but she went beyond that. She also managed to incorporate important and relevant information in relation to design. She used the online format very well, and it was easy to follow and take notes. She was extremely patient and people didn't feel left behind, while maintaining a brisk pace to the class. She was very good at eliciting feedback as to where we were and going over areas that we weren't sure about.
- Clara McAlinden
Excellent course. Very suitable for beginners. Course is very practical and provides a very solid introduction to the world of Adobe. Very good introduction to colours, fonts and designs.
- Tom O'Donnell
This course was better than expected. In the first class I was terrified, but as the days went on, and with just experimenting in the programs, I really came to enjoy and understand what was going on!
The lecturer was really helpful and had no problems in repeating herself over and over for us (highly appreciated). I had no idea about how to work with any of the programs but thanks to this course, I can now do so much, from logos to playing with vectors and even book covers and GIFs.
Without a doubt, Illustrator is now my favourite programme to work on, but they all have their purpose. I learned so much in just a short time!
- Daniela Guerreiro
The course was fantastic from start to finish. It was structured so well, each week we had clear goals and we always achieved them and so much more! This was down to our brilliant teacher, who went above and beyond. She is extremely knowledgeable and imparted so much of this onto us. She made everything about the Adobe suite accesssible to us as beginners, and also gave us valuable insights into design principles and disciplines. Personally, I gained so much from this course. I now have a new set of skills, increased confidence and a new outlook on the career options available in the design world. I could not recommend this course highly enough - signing up to this is one of the best decisions I have ever made! I now feel very confident using Adobe software, and I have a deeper understanding of design itself. I have been able to work independently outside the course on my own designs!
- Megan Fearon
This was a really enjoyable course. I had little to no skills in these software, and I do feel now I am on the way to really getting to know them! It takes a lot of practice, the course is fast paced. I would recommend to have the programs at the start of the course and practise.
- Dani Jordan
Very organised, very efficient, very friendly. I feel confident in the knowledge that I have gained in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign since I started the course.
